With over 40 years experience in the entertainment industry, Cecil has established A1 Events to be Ireland’s lead company for all Staging, Audio, Visual & Entertainment needs. Cecil has worked his way across the country and beyond, providing the best in state-of-the-art equipment and professional skill and experience to ensure that A1 Events produce excellent results every single time. It is this wealth of experience over the years that ensures the reliability and old school values of Cecil’s work ethic. “It’s not perfect, until it’s perfection” is Cecil’s motto. He prides himself and his business on expertise, experience, dependability and highest quality productions and has built a reputation for excellence and reliability.

When Jack, (Cecil’s son), joined the business, he already had instilled in him the passion for quality productions. Jack brings his own passion and drive to ensure A1 Events have the most up to date technology, equipment, and skill sets available, and delivers exceptional sound, stage and lighting effects.

A skilled and enthusiastic sound and light engineer, his work is highly sought after. He is driven to produce excellence in every single production and has stamped his own knowledge and experience on the company ethos.

Mary joined A1 Events in December of 2022. From a background in Finance and Logistics, Community Services and Arts Program Coordination, she brings organisational and marketing skills to the team. An amateur, (but enthusiastic), musician herself, with many years involved in and around the music industry, she has a passion for ensuring that the behind-the-scenes work is as flawless as the on-stage work. Working previously on Arts Platforms and Music Programs and bringing Youth Music & Arts programs to Electric Picnic and assorted festivals, she appreciates the importance of ensuring that it all runs smoothly, and is proud to work with A1 Events.
